I'm Tom Brown, a freelance animator based in London.

I love using 3D particle systems and crowd simulation - These were the basis of the final year project for my degree - but I'm also experienced in hard surface modelling, mechanical rigging and animation, material creation, and lighting. Aside from 3D animation I have been doing a lot of video work recently, both filming on location in high definition and editing video for projection.

I am currently creating an animated music video, creating a new show reel and working as an assistant to a video artist. Below is a very short video art piece I created in April.

A film created from photographs taken in Sydenham Woods, London. Man-made objects fall into disrepair and decay while their natural environment renews itself and takes over, ready to be disturbed again.
